The announcement was made by Glenn C. Gilly, president and CEO of the
company. In his new position, Michalsen will oversee Weber’s marketing
operation in North America. He began his career at Weber in 1981, and
assumes the post of marketing director after serving as the company’s
manager of media products for the past 18 years. “Tom is a decisive,
results-oriented professional,” said Gilly. “His vast product knowledge
and experience will add new vision to Weber’s marketing efforts.”
