This allows for nondestructive testing of 100% of the filled syringes. The Inova filling and closing unit can accommodate formats from 0.5 to 10 mL with different pump sizes. Depending on the fill volume and product properties, the time/pressure system achieves an output as high as 48,000 syringes/hr. Filling accuracy is +/- 1.0% in the .06- to 1-mL format range. With fill volumes of more than 1 mL, an accuracy level of +/- 0.5% is reached.
