Omron Electronics LLC: Switch-mode power supply

Cost savings from predictive maintenance is touted as a key benefit for users of Omron Electronics’ S8VS switch-mode power supply. S8VS uses a 3-digit, 7-segment LED display that displays a lifetime monitor to estimate the power supply’s remaining service life in years to help eliminate downtime.

A run-time monitor displays how long a load has been operating so that the networked power supply can indicate to another device to take corrective action. S8VS features overload and overvoltage protection, and is available in 60-, 90-, 120-, and 240-W versions.
