Wendy Sawtell, Regional Manager for Packaging World has been promoted to Vice President, Sales for PMMI Media Group, effective July 1. Packaging World is the flagship publication of Chicago-based PMMI Media Group, and the leading media brand for professionals who use packaging equipment, materials, technology and services.
A Drake University graduate, Ms. Sawtell joined Summit Publishing, now PMMI Media Group, when the firm opened in 1993 with the launch of Packaging World.She initially worked on the editorial side of operations, but soon found her niche in media sales where she quickly progressed, taking on additional accounts and mastering new product offerings as the firm grew. For over two decades, Ms. Sawtell managed accounts for Packaging World, Contract Packaging, Automation World, Healthcare Packaging, ProFood World, and OEM. She has been the top revenue producer for more than a decade.
