Hoffmann Neopac has produced Polyfoil® tubes for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries for years. The unbreakable tubes provide clean and hygienic application. This includes the simple application capability of the contents at the selected location. In addition, the tubes offer a high level of product protection and excellent dosing capabilities. The company has now expanded its range of dropper tubes for the pharmaceutical industry with additional sizes.

When using a glass bottle, controlled dosing is difficult. The advantages of the dropper tube compared to a glass bottle can be experienced immediately. Not only can the flexible tube be handled more ergonomically, but the cannula at the tip of the tube makes it easier and more precise when dosing the liquid or semi-liquid product.

Regardless of the pressure on the tube, droplet formation consistently remains the same and the amount of liquid being released remains constant. The risk of overdosing or under-dosing is extremely low. At the same time, the dripping speed can be individually regulated.

The tube is available with different types of caps—screw, wing or child-safe. Tamper evidence can be ensured using a tear-off guarantee strip. Also, the dropper tube is more variable, and offers attractive printing to yield a marketing advantage.

Hoffmann Neopac Polyfoil tubes have an integrated, thin aluminum layer. This protects the product from air, water and chemical influences. This ensures that no active ingredient evaporates from the product into the packaging. The reverse is also prevented as the migration of printing inks and varnishes into the product is also excluded. The lateral welding seam is completely covered through the interlocking coating, meaning the tube is evenly printable all over. The Polyfoil tube also gains stability and restorative force through the coating, which positively affects the brand image.

Dropper tubes can also be used for pharmaceutical products, such as liquid eye, ear, cough drops or veterinary medicine. In cosmetics, contents such as liquid make-up, hair care products, dental gels, nail care products or free samples, travel sets or food supplements are all suitable.

The product range currently covers a tube diameter of 13.5 mm up to a diameter of 25 mm. This allows for filling volumes from 3 mL to 50 mL.
