Swift Prepared Foods Opens New Facility in Missouri

The JBS USA subsidiary’s ready-to-eat, fully cooked bacon facility, Swift’s sixth facility in the U.S., is expected to create approximately 200 new jobs in the area.

Swift Prepared Foods has opened the doors of its new $68 million ready-to-eat, fully cooked bacon facility in Moberly, Mo. The facility is expected to create approximately 200 new jobs in the area.

Swift Prepared Foods, which provides high-quality protein products and innovative prepared foods throughout the U.S., currently has six facilities in the country.

“It is always exciting when companies choose to invest and grow in Missouri,” Governor Mike Parson said at the grand opening of the Moberly facility. “With the opening of its facility here in Moberly and the recent announcement of its new facility in Columbia, Swift Prepared Foods has shown a commitment to the people of this state. We are proud that Missouri is home to great companies like this one and look forward to working together for many years to come.”
