Ipack-Ima encompasses the entire value chain

FieraMilano will be the venue for the 22nd edition of Ipack-Ima, a leading global exhibition for processing, packaging, and material handling industrial technology.

Running February 28-March 3 in Milan, Italy, Ipack-Ima (www.ipack-ima.com) will be an all-encompassing event for the entire production chain—from raw materials to the sales outlet—with a highly diversified display of products:

  • Machines, equipment, and components for primary and secondary packaging
  • Industrial & protective packaging
  • Processing equipment
  • Systems for labeling, coding, marking, traceability and identification
  • Package manufacturing machines
  • Industry services and contract packaging

More than 1,000 exhibitors, 30% from international markets, testify to the growing interest in Ipack-Ima 2012.

This exhibition, which showcases the world’s top-notch product offerings for both food and non-food sectors, has established an excellent relationship with the business communities of its nine main target markets: Grain Based Food, Dairy Products, Beverage, Confectionery, Vegetables & Fruit, Fresh and Convenience Food, Health and Personal Care, Chemicals—industrial & home, Industrial & Durable Goods. Rounding out Ipack-Ima are some important side events, too, notably an international conference on food safety and security developed with the assistance of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and other leading global agencies. UNIDO and IPACK-IMA have been profitably working together for many years, leading to an agreement that brings both sides to the support of technological development that will ensure food safety and fight world hunger.
