21st DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation Winners announced. . .

DuPont's Packaging Innovation Awards honor achievements in enhanced sustainability and performance. Winners of the 21st annual contest were recently announced and include the following: Prilosec OTC Pack from Procter & Gamble and Alcan Packaging (US) which reduces waste and enables an entire course of treatment on a single blister card; Ecolean Group's Lightweight Packaging (Sweden) which cuts package weight by 50% and uses natural material to significantly reduce raw materials in the construction; Invisible Case Polyouters from Procter & Gamble (Belgium and Turkey) replaces corrugated outers for 80% weight reduction and 20% volume compression.
