The green-beer bandwagon is being mounted by the likes of SABMiller and Foster's—especially in the land down-under. But greenwashing, which misleads consumers regarding the environmental practices of a company or product, is rampant in the beer industry, according to consumer advocacy group Choice. While Choice is happy about the commitment Cooper's has made to the environment, it says that third-party certification and clear evidence of its green practices, is missing.
