Its Box Tops for Education fundraising program will double the amount of money each school can receive, from $30ꯠ to $60ꯠ. More than 71ꯠ schools participate nationally. In addition, General Mills will more than double the number of participating brands to 800. General Mills increases support for schools
After donating nearly $20 million to elementary schools in 2001, General Mills, Minneapolis, has announced plans to double the size of the program for the current school year.
