Packaging Machinery Manufacturers InstituteMore than 1,600 exhibitors will display their wares at the massive show, including companies that provide contract packaging services and those who offer machinery, materials, and other services that benefit the contract packaging industry.
This year’s show will feature the following topic-specific areas:
• The Processing Zone. This area will house the latest processing technologies that can help companies address the production line as a complete process, especially when examining rates, efficiencies, and other improvements.
• The Confectionary Pavilion. Sponsored by the National Confectioners Association, this area will showcase innovations from the confection and snack food sectors.
• The Brand Zone. Formerly known as the Containers & Materials Pavilion, the Brand Zone debuts at the Chicago show with innovative containers and materials designed to increase visual impact, enhance convenience, maximize shelf life, and add functionality.
• The DistriPak Pavilion. This area is sponsored by the NPTA Alliance (formerly the National Paper Trade Association), and it provides a new way to find industrial packaging distributors and manufacturers of machinery and materials who sell through the distribution channel.
Besides the exhibit floor, Pack Expo will feature conferences. Among them, the Grocery Manufacturers Association’s inaugural Manufacturing Excellence Conference will be co-located with Pack Expo.
