Natures Organics continues history of environmentally conscious packaging, adopting a ‘biohybrid’ resin for laundry and personal care products.

Natures Organics, an Australian manufacturer of naturally based health, beauty, and household cleaning products, has selected Cardia Biohybrid™ sustainable packaging technology from Cardia Bioplastics Limited for its range of laundry and personal care products.

Cardia Biohybrid resin is a proprietary technology that combines renewable thermoplastics with polyolefin material to increase the renewable content of packaging by up to 50%. The material is being used for Nature Organics’ Earth Choice and Purity laundry products and for its Organic Care personal care products.

Natures Organics managing director Justin Dowel relates that Natures Organics has a strong track record of using environmentally responsible packaging. “We were the first in Australia to produce 100% recycled PET bottles for household cleaning products, and we use bioplastics across our Organic Care range,” he says. “The combination of packaging performance, environmental profile, and cost effectiveness made Cardia Biohybrid technology a natural choice for our packaging.”
