The new packaging consists of customized, slim-line, 188-mm-long aluminum / paper sleeves and rigid, transparent polystyrene lids. Color-coded to indicate ice cream flavor, the shiny, metallic-looking sleeves are printed gravure with bold, consumer-attractive graphics. Consumers also like the transparent, easy-open lids that allow a mouth-watering view of the product, and serve to protect the curved domes of the ice cream tops.
