From November 22 to 26, the packaging world will meet in Paris for Emballage 2004. With more than 2귔 exhibiting companies, Emballage 2004 confirms its international appeal. All the major packaging equipment and solution providers will be there, featuring many new products and facilities, so the show will be a unique opportunity for the 106ꯠ expected visitors to pick up ideas and find out about the latest innovations in the packaging sector.
Emballage is sponsored by Exposium, represented in North America by Imex Management (Charlotte, NC). New for 2004 at Emballage is a special emphasis on Beverages & Liquids and on Prepress and Printing Technology.
International presence remains a backbone of the show. Foreign exhibitors’ presence is expected to be up 15% over 2002. Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, and the United Kingdom are expected to lead the foreign brigade.
For the third consecutive time, the World Food Process Exhibition (IPA) and Emballage will be co-located. Interviewed attendees from the food industry confirm that process and packaging are closely linked: 82% strongly support the idea of holding the two exhibitions at the same time because they can see the whole spectrum of equipment ranging from processing to packaging.
In addition to providing a global vision of the market, Emballage opens the doors to the future with its Pack.Vision survey. Carried out exclusively for Emballage, the survey reveals the major trends in tomorrow’s packaging, based this year on the them “Packaging: a global marketplace. Myth or reality?” The Pack.Vision Congress will be held in Hall 6 on Tuesday the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th.
