Sealed Air has introduced Cryovac® Xenith3™, a film that shrinks easily with low shrink force at temperatures as low as 150ºF without compromising strength.

Said to also exhibit high free shrink and provide a wide processing window, the multilayer coextruded film uses Topas^® cyclic olefin copolymer. Film shrinks softly to wrap delicate goods without distorting them and conforms closely to contoured and irregularly shaped products. Tear strength varies from 30 g/mil to more than 90 g/mil, meaning packagers can use thinner grades without compromising performance.
