The patented side gussets are placed in registration up to and just below the zipper, thereby creating only 2 panels for easier sealing. Pouches can be made with a broad variety of materials and laminations, including polyester, nylon, foil, PP, and metallized films. The end result is a box-like package with 4 panels on which to showcase graphics.
