ALLIEDFLEX moves HQ to larger facility

ALLIEDFLEX Technologies Inc. moves corporate offices and manufacturing to more expansive facility in Sarasota, FL.

ALLIEDFLEX announces the relocation of its corporate offices and manufacturing operations to larger facilities to better serve our growing North American customer base. The 15,000-sq.-ft. facility will provide expanded sales and marketing, technical service, engineering and manufacturing operations, as well as machinery show room, machinery demonstration facilities, and expanded spare parts inventory.

Dennis Calamusa, President and CEO of ALLIEDFLEX, and his Sarasota based company have become synonymous in the packaging industry with the popular stand-up pouch package format. Calamusa has led the industry as the “Authority in Stand-up Pouch Packaging and Machinery.”

Prior to launching ALLIEDFLEX Technologies in 2002, Calamusa held management positions over the past 30 years with Robert Bosch and Klockner-Bartelt. In 1996, he cofounded PROFILE Packaging, Inc. & PPI Technologies, Inc., also based in Sarasota.

From the start, the ALLIEDFLEX Group utilized a consulting approach to the packaging machinery business with a focus on “solution based selling” by providing a variety of world-class machinery brands to their clients. These companies serve a wide variety of market applications including the food, beverage, pet, home care, and personal care consumer product sectors.

ALLIEDFLEX focuses on a full spectrum of clientele including startup entrepreneurs, established mid-sized companies, and the large global multinationals. Similarly, all are looking for innovative packaging to introduce new or mature products in a modern consumer friendly alternative to traditional cartons, cans, and bottles.

The stand-up pouch is "ticking all the boxes" and you can see this dramatic impact aisle by aisle in Walmart, Targets, Whole Foods, and your own local supermarket. The format is one of the fastest growing new packaging styles in the world being introduced in to a vast cross section of retail consumer goods.

The innovative standing pouch design is stimulating sales of mature products, creating a point of differentiation on the busy store shelf and appealing to younger and changing consumers looking for convenience and portable “on-the-go” packaging. With all of this excitement around the stand-up pouch package format, ALLIEDFLEX and their associated machinery partners are well poised for continued growth for many years to come.
