Stan Zelesnik, Executive Director of the Contract Packaging Association (CPA), is retiring from that position effective imediately.

“After five years with CPA, and more than forty-five wonderful years in the packaging business, it is time to move on,” says Zelesnik.  “I look forward to having the opportunity to spend more time with my family, enjoy my lake home and relax a little. I may also do some consulting work from time to time, as a way to stay connected with this industry and with my long-time friends and colleagues.”

“During Stan’s tenure, the Contract Packaging Association has experienced significant growth and success,” says John Riley, CPA President. “We appreciate his tireless efforts on our behalf, and wish him all the best in this new phase of his life.”

He also served as the Director of Education for the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) before joining CPA as Executive Director.

Ed Landon, Principal, Landon, Farrey & Associates (CPA’s management company), will assume Executive Director duties for the Contract Packaging Association.
