(Bartlesville, OK) will form a joint venture co. with Daelim Industrial Co. Ltd. (Yochon, Korea) to produce Phillips’ K-Resin SBC. The deal is pending approval by the Korean government.—KoSa (Charlotte, NC) has completed its acquisition of Celanese AG’s (Millhaven, Ontario, Canada) polyester operations. —Shorewood Packaging Corp. (New York, NY) has formed a joint venture with Electronic Page Co. (South Wales, U.K.) to be known as Shorewood EPC Europe Ltd. —Checkpoint Systems, Inc. (Thorofare, NJ) has received clearance from the German competition authorities to proceed with its offer to acquire Meto AG (Heppenheim, Germany).
