ITW completes Valéron acquisitions

Illinois Tool Works completes the acquisition of Huhtamaki Van Leer’s (Finland) two Valéron Strength Film manufacturing facilities in Essen, Belgium and Houston, TX.

Illinois Tool Works (Glenview, IL) has completed the acquisition of Huhtamaki Van Leer’s (Finland) two Valéron Strength Film manufacturing facilities in Essen, Belgium and Houston, TX.

As a result, ITW is changing both companies’ names to Valéron Strength Films from the former Van Leer Flexibles, L.P. (Houston) and N.V. Van Leer Muno S.A. (Essen, Belgium). The flagship product, Valéron Strength Film, is used for labels and other packaging applications.
