Packaging Hall of Fame commission members announced

The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute selected ten packaging professionals to sit on the Packaging Hall of Fame Commission.

The following people have been selected to sit on the Packaging Hall of Fame Commission:

* Joseph Angel, vp and publisher, Packaging World

* Mark Jacobson, vp, Econocorp, Inc.

* Robert Collins, II, director of Global Package Development, The Gillette Company

* Ed Landon, president, Institute of Packaging Professionals

* Marla Donahue, president, Flexible Packaging Association

* Ed Bauer, director of Global Packaging, Bausch & Lomb

* Michael Richmond, Ph.D, senior partner, Packaging & Technology Integrated Solutions

* Chuck Gulosh, packaging engineering/product engineering, HP Hood LLC

* Bob Risley, president, Materials Handling Systems, Inc.

* Ben Miyares, vp, industry relations, PMMI

Each year, a select number of outstanding packaging leaders are inducted into the Packaging Hall of Fame in recognition of their significant contributions to the packaging industry. Nominations for the Hall of Fame will be accepted until late July. That’s when the commission will begin a selection process to determine this year’s inductees.
