This is the latest in a series of growth-driven moves for Equator, which announced the opening of a new strategic location in Toronto, Canada, in April 2023.

The West Michigan and Minneapolis offices, previously independent studios under the banner of parent company SGK, a Matthews International Company, (NASDAQ GSM: MATW) will now integrate with the agency, enhancing its ability to provide end-to-end strategy, branding and design services to clients worldwide throughout the entire lifecycle of their packaging projects.

Equator’s latest two offices not only increase its footprint in the U.S., joining existing studios in Chicago and Cincinnati, but also its capacity globally, complementing its other locations in Manchester, Nottingham, and Toronto. They will help Equator handle client work with the nuance that a local perspective provides while also benefitting from the agency’s global reach.

The talent and experience joining the Equator team through this integration is exceptional. The West Michigan team, in particular, has a strong foothold in delivering breakthrough limited-edition, and seasonal design.

On the expansion of their U.S. presence, Equator’s Global Managing Director, Rachel Johnson, commented: “This has been a year of tremendous growth as an agency, and I’m thrilled we’re keeping up that momentum! The whole team is elevated with the increased capacity and what that means for our incredible roster of clients, who will benefit from our enhanced strategic and creative expertise.

“Being able to offer a seamless, end-to-end service is integral to what we do, and the more we increase our pool of talent in the areas our clients operate, the more efficiently we can deliver on this ambition.”
