interpack announces new trade fair for 2014 show

Next year’s interpack will include a new ‘Components for processing and packaging’ trade fair during the first three days of the May 8-14, 2014 show in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Messe Düsseldorf’s interpack Processes and Packaging 2014 show will take place May 8-14, 2014 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, enhanced with a new “components for processing and packaging” trade fair to be held during interpack’s first three days—at the Congress Center South at the Düsseldorf Fairgrounds.

interpack 2014 will run from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. The event was last held in 2011, drawing 2,703 exhibitors from 59 countries and 166,000 visitors. E-tickets for the new show will be available starting in early 2014 at www.interpack.com at reduced rates. Tickets can be bought at the show site at regular rates.

Exhibits will include packaging machinery and devices, packaging materials, packaging means and auxiliary packaging means, machinery and equipment for the production of
confectionery, bakery, and pharmaceuticals, as well as services.

The U.S. Pavilion will be organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America www.mdna.com, the U.S. subsidiary of the interpack organizer. In all, interpack includes 19 exhibit halls, with restaurants in every hall, protected walkways between halls, food store, hardware store, bank, telecommunication store, post office, travel agency, public telephones, business service center, electronic visitor guidance and information system.

Meanwhile, the “components for processing and packaging” trade fair is geared towards suppliers to the packaging insdustry, specifically companies specializing in motor, drive, control and sensor technology, products for machinery image data processing, as well as handling technology, industrial software, and communication and complete automation systems for packaging machinery. It is also directed at manufacturers of machinery parts, components, accessories, peripheral equipment, and components and auxiliaries for packaging material.
