Black Clawson's (Fulton, NY) Mayer rod coater allows quick changes and reliable coated web production. Works with pan-, roll- and tube-fed rod coating of plastic substrates.

Doctor blades rest on either side of the rod to prevent side-to-side movement, holding the rod in a stable position during coating. Edge-wipe system ensures uncoated web edge and prevents coat from spreading to rolls.
