Bergen Plastics, a manufacturer of special packaging for liquid and powder pouches, introduced the Square Safe™ container and Plus Safe™ lid.

Superior locking abilities, combined with an integrated lid increases child-resistant abilities compared to former solutions. However, most of these features are hidden from plain view, resulting in a streamlined and sleek design.

The integrated lid prevent unintentional opening by deforming tub via use of force. This due to the inverted locking ribs. The greater force applied to the tub, the harder the lid will fasten.

In order to comply with CRP-standards, the design makes the lid exterior inaccessible. The lockings are shielded by the CRP frame, enveloping the lid in closed position. The protruding rim of the tub slightly exceed the lid, preventing access from beneath, as well as keeping the lid in firm position.

This packaging has been designed to conform to ISO 8317 and other valid standards and marker requirements we find in today’s European markets.

The Square Safe™ proposal feature two different tub sizes.
