The CITY Awards, held for the past seven years at Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers & Distributors’ (ICMAD) annual meeting, honors the best of the newest products, package designs, advertising, and websites in the cosmetic and personal care products industry. One of only nine winners this year, World Wide Packaging LLC was honored in the Skin Care Package Design Innovation category for its new Tube in a Tube (shown here) created for Avon, which offers a unique approach to dispensing two separate products simultaneously.

Accepting the award was Jeffrey Hayet, executive vice president of global sales for WWP, while Barry Freda, president, CEO/CFO and Holly Benda, marketing director, were also in attendance. Pam Teevan, Tedi Weitekamp, and Jeff Wass from Avon all worked with the team at WWP on the Tube-in-a-Tube initiative.

Tube-in-a-Tube offers a tube containing one solution, while a second, smaller tube built into the larger tube holds a second solution. When the tube is squeezed, both products are dispensed at the same time, thereby activating both products.

ICMAD is a nonprofit trade association that provides programs and services to innovative cosmetic companies to help them succeed in the cosmetics and personal care industries.

World Wide Packaging provides the cosmetics and skin care industries with packaging components including tubes, jars, compacts, lotion bottles, and pumps, custom and stock molding, and turnkey operations.
