Intoxicating poppy top perfume packaging

In March 2009, France-based Kenzo Parfums launched a worldwide introduction of its FlowerbyKenzo fragrance (with hints of violet, vanilla, and rose) in svelte, customized glass packaging from SGD.

The strikingly shaped bottles are topped with specialized, poppy-embossed closures molded and decorated by Rexam.

The high-resolution (200 dpi) poppy image is captured by Rexam using state-of-the-art pad printing technology, which involves precise registration of the four colors. Transparent, injection-molded caps incorporate Surlyn® resin from DuPont. Overcartons are supplied by Autajon. Kenzo’s production unit manager for fragrances Elodie Suet comments, “Rexam’s technical abilities, services, and worldwide supplier capabilities were invaluable to the successful outcome of this package. We believe the bottle and closure are true stand-outs and communicate the Kenzo brand sensibility and quality.”
