According to Sazerac, the Frankfort, KY, distiller of Rain Vodka, the previous package’s tall, rectangular bottle was doing little to differentiate itself from other vodkas’ elaborate packaging on the shelf. The glass bottle is frosted at the neck and fades into clear near the bulb of the “raindrop.” A cobalt blue acrylic closure, which is attached to a cork stopper, tops off the bottle. Rain Vodka is available in select U.S. markets, with a nationwide rollout scheduled for this year.
