Equistar Chemicals has developed the Plexar 6000 Series of PP tie-layer resins, said to offer excellent processability that results in even layer distribution and increased line speeds.

Resins provide good adhesion to EVOH, nylon, and homo- and co-polymer PP, while also providing heat resistance and high clarity. Plexar PX 6002 is suitable for blow-molding and film applications. Plexar PX 6006 is a high-performance resin designed for demanding sheet, thermoforming, and blow-molding applications, including deep forming containers and retort/autoclave processing.
