Ryt-way Industries acquires Robert's Packaging, Inc.

Ryt-way Industries LLC, headquartered in Lakeville, MN, has announced that it has acquired Robert’s Packaging, Inc., of Battle Creek, MI.

Ryt-way offers its customers a number of packaging options, technological advantages and category expertise for the packaging of a broad selection of dry food products, including cereals, prepared meals, snacks, sweeteners, side dishes, desserts, dried fruit, nutraceuticals and pet foods.

Robert’s Packaging, Inc. manufactures high-speed, stand-up pouch equipment in addition to providing contract packaging services for dry, human and pet foods.  Robert’s is the second acquisition completed by Ryt-way this year.  In June, Ryt-way acquired the food & beverage and equipment & manufacturing businesses of Cloud Packaging Solutions, including Cloud Packaging Services, Cloud Equipment Company and Toll Packaging Services.

The addition of Robert's further strengthens Ryt-way’s position as a leading provider of contract packaging and technology solutions for North America’s leading consumer packaged goods companies.  Robert’s stand-up pouch equipment technology complements Cloud’s equipment technologies.

David Finch, CEO of Ryt-way, commented, “Robert’s has long-standing customer relationships and an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and service.  We are very excited about adding Robert’s capabilities into the Ryt-way family in order to provide an expanding portfolio of high-speed packaging solutions for our customers.”
