Paxar Corp.: Compact 'smart label'

Paxar has announced the immediate availability of 915 MHz Class 1 RFID Smart Labels in lengths as short as 1” each. The Monarch 9855 RFID printer/encoder’s innovative design and antenna system are said to allow it to encode these small labels reliably, without interference from the next label.

The new, smaller label is available through Monarch’s Q-Service for RFID Service Bureau, as well as for encoding with its 9855 printer/encoder.
