Linerless labeling

Arca’s Bi-Fuel print apply unit uses linerless self-adhesive labeling technology that creates self-adhesive, square or rectangular labels that do not require a release liner.

The linerless labels are drawn from a self-adhesive continuous band wound over itself, and "cut" to a desired length at the moment of application. Self-adhesive linerless labels can be applied on boxes, bundles or pallets. A roll of linerless material contains at least double the number of labels compared to a traditional roll of self-adhesive material. Because there are no silicone liners to dispose of cost is reduced and eco-friendliness is increased. Arca labels have quality printability and thermal transfer characteristics, even at high operating speeds (250 mm/sec), using standard or resin based ribbons for indelible printing.
