Universal Labeling Systems' SL1500 Modular Label Applicator uses a high performance stepper motor that provides a variety of applicator configurations.

The SL1500 also provides label dispense speeds up to 1500 inches per minute, and standard 6.375-inch web capacity, or optional 8.125-inch web capacity. Photoelectric label sensing, wipe on module, 12-inch long peeler arm assembly, and adjustable peeler bar assembly are standard. Clear label sensing, tamp module, tamp blow module, and blow on module are optional. Other features include: a quick and easy adjustment to the leading and trailing edge of varying label sizes; speed matching that allows the exact control of speed and settings via a simple digital dial control; a save menu providing the ability to save up to 99 different jobs; and a multi-level menu system separating the operator interface from the set-up program, offering added production security.
