(Hoxne, Suffolk, U.K.).—KoSa (Houston, TX) has signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire Celanese AG’s (Frankfurt, Germany) polyester operations in Millhaven, Ontario, Canada. —Graham Packaging Latin America LLC, a subsidiary of Graham Packaging Co. L.P. (York, PA), has entered into an agreement with Industrias Innopack S.A. de C.V. (Mexico City, Mexico) to form a new co., Graham Innopack de Mexico (Mexico City, Mexico).—Systronics, Inc. (Norcross, GA) has merged with Lasor AG (Bielefeld, Germany), and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lasor under the name Lasor/Systronics Inc.—IIMAK (Amherst, NY) has formed an alliance with Inpress Sistemas e Automacao Ltda. (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) to establish a new co., IIMAK Brasil Ltda. (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), which will convert and distribute thermal-transfer ribbons used in bar-code and tag-and-label printers.—Weyerhaeuser Co. (Federal Way, WA) has completed its acquisition of MacMillan Bloedel Ltd. (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada).—Centrexpo S.p.A. (Milan, Italy) has purchased a 36% share in Ipack-Ima srl (Milan, Italy).—Hoover Materials Handling Group, Inc. (Alpharetta, GA) has joined forces with Mamor® Intl. to become the exclusive manufacturer of the Mamor SM6 and SM7 IBCs in North America.—Willett Intl. (London, England) and Union Trade Corp. (San Francisco, CA) have formed Willett Korea (Seoul, Korea), a joint venture to market, sell, service and support Willett solutions to customers in the Republic of Korea
