Gerresheimer has introduced its Connected Packaging platform to the cosmetics industry. This packaging system integrates unique QR codes (i.xQR Codes) or NFC tags to create individual digital identities for products, thus transforming packaging into a digital customer touchpoint. As a result, beauty brands can improve the customer experience and increase brand loyalty and sales, while gaining valuable insights into consumer behavior.
