Justin Golden Appointed as CEO of Stephen Gould

Family-owned packaging company ushers in the next phase of growth with third-generation leadership as Justin Golden succeeds his father, Michael Golden.

Stephen Gould, an independent supply chain solutions provider, announced the appointment of Justin Golden as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Justin represents the third generation of family leadership at Stephen Gould, marking a new chapter in the Company’s growth and long-term strategic direction. Justin succeeds his father, Michael Golden, who will transition to the roles of Strategic Advisor and Chairman of the Board.

Founded in 1939 as a small packaging supply business on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Stephen Gould has grown into a global packaging, design, and supply-chain solutions leader while remaining family-owned and family-led for three generations. Under the stewardship of the Golden family, the company has grown to more than 40 offices worldwide and approximately $950 million in annual revenue in 2025. Stephen Gould has continually evolved by expanding its capabilities from packaging distribution to fully integrated design, production, and logistics services, supporting some of the world’s most recognized brands today.
 
Justin Golden previously served as President of global packaging, design, and supply-chain solutions at Stephen Gould. Since assuming the role in 2016, he has been instrumental in bridging the company’s rich heritage with its strategic future, championing growth, innovation, and the development of the firm’s distinctive culture. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he developed a strong foundation in business strategy and leadership. Justin is also deeply committed to philanthropic work. He joined the Board of Directors of The RIVER Fund in 2014 and has been actively involved in other fundraising and community support initiatives.
