Metsä Board, a producer of lightweight and high-quality folding boxboards, foodservice boards and white kraftliners, will exhibit its portfolio of premium fresh fiber paperboard solutions at PACK EXPO International 2026, taking place October 18–21 in Chicago, IL. Visitors to Booth W-45036 can explore Metsä Board materials for retail packaging, pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging, and food and foodservice packaging, and learn how they combine strength, visual quality and consistent converting performance for demanding applications.
At the show, Metsä Board will highlight MetsäBoard Natural FSB Cup and MetsäBoard Pro FSB Cup foodservice boards. MetsäBoard Natural FSB Cup is an uncoated, hard-sized board that provides a natural look and feel while helping prevent moisture from penetrating packaging edges. Its good formability supports conversion into hot and cold cups, ice cream cups and containers, as well as bowls and trays. MetsäBoard Pro FSB Cup is a top-coated, hard-sized board with excellent printability and reliable press performance, helping brands achieve accurate color reproduction while supporting dependable conversion into cups, trays, bowls and containers.
Metsä Board will also feature its white kraftliner portfolio for retail packaging, including MetsäBoard Classic WKL, MetsäBoard Natural WKL Bright, MetsäBoard Prime WKL and MetsäBoard Pro WKL. MetsäBoard Classic WKL is a coated white-top kraftliner designed for in-line and conventional flexo post-printing, with fast ink drying that can help improve production throughput. MetsäBoard Natural WKL Bright is a fully bleached, uncoated white kraftliner that delivers a matte, tactile finish, high whiteness and strong print contrast for premium packaging and lightweight microflute applications.
MetsäBoard Prime WKL is a double-coated white-top kraftliner with a smooth surface, superb gloss and high color density to support detailed image reproduction and premium graphics for branded packaging and point-of-sale materials. MetsäBoard Pro WKL is a high-strength, double-coated white-top kraftliner that enhances brand colors and half-tone images while supporting high converting productivity and strong corrugated box performance in demanding applications.
Metsä Board will showcase collaborative samples at booth W-45036, pairing its lightweight paperboards with HEIDELBERG’s advanced printing technologies. Metsä Board also will be featuring coffee cups made with its paperboard and MetPack’s biodegradable barrier coating.
