Global technology, software and engineering specialist Emerson will exhibit future-ready packaging automation solutions at PACK EXPO Las Vegas, Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 2025.

Visitors to the Emerson booth (South Hall, Lower Level, Booth SL-15009) will learn how a data-driven Floor to CloudTM approach to packaging operations can drive sustainable growth, maximize manufacturing performance and quality, and enhance workforce productivity. Visitors can attend live demonstrations highlighting integrated automation solutions that transform packaging efficiency and sustainability.

Visitors can see the benefits of seamless data integration at the Emerson Operations Control Tower display. The display will show how to gain a clear window into the performance and energy consumption of connected assets, enabling manufacturers to compare performance, apply benchmarks and drive continuous improvement.

A ballpoint pen assembly demonstration reveals the extensive range of high-performance automation components Emerson offers in a fully integrated solution. Visitors will see how the assembly machine seamlessly combines and assembles all components of a completed pen. The pen is packaged using a Polaris Ultrasonic Welder, and a QR code is printed or applied to the product showing the energy that was consumed to assemble it.

A live, high-speed pick-and-place demonstration shows a pick-and-place operation using a gripper to pick and place LEDs from a fast-indexing rotary table. The demonstration will focus on ways to reduce energy consumption, tighten cycle times and cut maintenance costs, compared with other solutions.

In addition to showcasing its innovative packaging automation solutions, Emerson is sponsoring two events: an Innovation Stage presentation, “Unlocking Energy Efficiency: Smarter Monitoring for Sustainable Growth,” and the Amazing Packaging Race.

The Innovation Stage presentation will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 12 p.m., on Innovation Stage 3 (W-4318). Emerson Global Director of Software Silvia Gonzalez will take a deep dive into the need for real-time energy monitoring for operational efficiency and emissions reduction. She will also share a new solution that delivers smarter, scalable energy monitoring. Attendees will learn how intuitive dashboards and data-driven visual insights support informed decision-making and help scale savings across operations.

Emerson is also sponsoring the Amazing Packaging Race, Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 9 a.m. During the event, teams of university students from across the U.S. race around the show floor to complete tasks and solve problems at the booths of participating exhibitors.
