Model 2138-T is a new thermal/ thermal-transfer printer/applicator from Label-Aire (Fullerton, CA) that accepts a variety of thermal/ thermal-transfer print units to form a complete printer/applicator system.

It uses either tamp-blow or blow-on methods of application and is the only unit in the U.S. market with UL certification as an option for some models. It's shown here with the 8400S Sato-based printer. Can also be used with printers from Datamax or Zebra Technologies. Printing speeds are programmable up to 12"/sec, depending on printer selection.
