Unlike traditional configurations that utilize separate PLC hardware/software and HMI hardware/software, CP TV is a comprehensive logic and visualization solution that reduces overall costs and development time.

The hardware features five sizes of TFT touch screens (3.5”, 5.7”, 10.4”, 12.1” and 15”), and an expansive selection of ports: Ethernet (Modbus/TCP), CANopen, USB, RS-232 and RS-485. In addition to connectivity requirements, performance is also optimized with scaled processing power up to 1.6 GHz processor, 256 MB of RAM and 128 MB of Flash memory. Removable memory expansion (up to 2 GB) is supported via microSD, SD or Compact Flash card for applications such as program backup/restore, recipe exchange, trending and more.

The IEC 61131 compatible WAGO-I/O-PRO software is the all-in-one development tool for PERSPECTO CP TV’s logic programming and graphic screen editing. Offered as a site license, the tool includes six programming languages (IL, LD, FBD, ST, FC and CFC), custom graphic development, as well as access to pre-built graphic libraries and function blocks. The result is an integrated solution that allows any PLC variable to be easily assigned to a graphic element.

Additional PERSPECTO® CP TV features/capabilities:

• Trending — Capture trend, even data or alarm information and open in spreadsheets for analysis.
• Integrated Web server — Remote access and network-wide streaming of dynamic HMI screens.
• FTP server enables data exchange between networked devices.
• Leverage the benefits of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM for I/O requirements.
