Universal analog input module

IDEC offers a new 4-point universal analog input module, expanding the capabilities of its fast micro PLC, the MicroSmart Pentra.

The high-performance module accepts most analog signals, including 0-10 V, 4-20 mA, thermocouple, RTD, and Nickel. Each channel is independent and can be configured to accept most analog input devices. The new module snaps onto the side of the MicroSmart Pentra and offers a 16-bit resolution, +/- 0.2% accuracy, and fast conversion times. Standard features include double word and floating math, Modbus RTU/ASCII, recently released Modbus TCP/IP, upgradeable firmware, embedded 100-kHZ high-speed inputs and outputs, 7 communication ports, and easy-to-use software.
