Pacific Scientific: Compact stepper motors

Pacific Scientific (Rockford, IL) has added a Size 17 frame Powerpac motor to its line of hybrid stepper motors. It offers a holding torque range from 21.2 to 68.9 oz-in.

A compact, housingless frame encloses 1/2-, 1- or 2-rotor stacks. Features single or double shaft extensions and smooth or flat shaft modifications. The Powerpac line is designed to offer more power in a smaller package and provide low detent torque for smoother microstepping.
