The MPV18 vacuum sealer from Seco Industries (Montebello, CA) is an impulse seal system said to cost less than the least expensive fixed-nozzle system, but with the benefits of a retractable nozzle.

Instead of a fixed-position nozzle, this retractable nozzle moves away from the seal bar during the sealing cycle. Uses a 1/4" W flat band seal. Seal length is 18".
