Industrial Inkjet Ltd USA (IIJ) will be showcasing its ink-jet printing technology for food and pharmaceutical packaging manufacturers at Healthcare Packaging Expo and PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2017 in Booth N-619.
IIJ will show two modules representing some of the range of options available. IIJ’s print engines are based on Konica Minolta ink-jet print heads and can utilize a range of ink types, providing potential solutions for many types of printing substrates and applications.
Two of IIJ’s solutions include the 22-in. ColourPrint 562i and compact 2.8-in. ColourPrint 72i four-color engines, capable of 250 ft/min. Capitalizing on the compact footprint, existing equipment can be upgraded to include digital printing capabilities with either the IIJ ColourPrint Series or MonoPrint Series of print engines.
MonoPrint XPi variable data print modules can be adapted for web widths up to 6 ft and are capable of speeds over 900 ft/min for late-stage label and packaging customization. The ColourPrint series of engines can be configured for either high-quality label applications or industrial marking applications using the range of Konica Minolta print heads available. Extending the hardware solution with an extensive ink catalog and process expertise allows IIJ be an active partner in creating an application-specific solution based on client needs.
IIJ will have a variety of print samples on hand to show general capabilities using a variety of inks such as: low migration, security, white, varnish and cold foil.
