Perforated shrink film for beverage multipacks makes separation a snap
Using a patented film perforation process, Coveris has created the DuraLite Smart Pack, which offers new flexibility and convenience functions for shrink-wrapped beverages. The film—an alternative to a conventional shrink-wrap film or a paperboard carton for beverage multipacks—allows the consumer to break off different can counts, for example, two cans from a 12-pack, while keeping them unitized. The film can be run on existing shrink-film equipment and can be recycled within the PE stream.
