Good Earth packaging is, in fact, good for the earth...

Good Earth™ thermoformed packaging contains an additive that makes it biodegradable and compostable—even if it ends up in a landfill.

According to MHI, the manufacturer, the PET packaging is made from 100 percent recycled water, juice and sports drink bottles, and when disposed of, is metabolized into inert biomass by microorganisms. Additionally, as the packaging degrades, it does not produce any toxic residue harmful to living organisms in land or water. The FDA-approved containers can be used for food or non-food products, and are available in clear, tinted, and opaque colors, or anti-static. Good Earth also makes polystyrene and polypropylene packaging, and flexible packaging.
