Excessive packaging tops list of dislikes of Welsh supermarket shoppers

Although 90% of Welsh shoppers buy their groceries at supermarkets, only 7% of them really want to.

More than three-quarters of those shoppers say supermarkets are not doing enough to address environmental issues. And of these shoppers, 87% say that excessive packaging is their biggest concern when buying food. A study by Oxfam Cymru suggests that the major supermarket chains could reduce consumer suspicion if they began to seriously address the environmental concerns of Welsh shoppers.
