Bologna, Italy-based Ilip announces it is designing and manufacturing packaging for fresh produce using NatureWorks PLA from Cargill Dow LLC (Minnetonka, MN).

Ilip’s new packaging will be used in fresh produce sections of retail stores throughout Europe. NatureWorks PLA is a bio-based polymer derived from 100% annually renewable resources, such as corn.
