Pacific Foods is a Pacific Northwest-based family-owned company dedicated to clean and simple foods. They recently launched five varieties of organic tomato products: tomato sauce, strained tomatoes, diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes with onion, garlic, and basil. The organic products are sold in combiblocStandard aseptic cartons with a v-perforation opening from SIG Combibloc.

Founded in 1987 in Tualatin, OR, Pacific Foods sources simple ingredients cultivated through sustainable practices, makes products that nourish, and increases access to healthy, wholesome foods. It offers a variety of organic products, including soups, sauces, broths, and stocks, as well as a range of non-dairy beverages and a collection of meals and sides. Pacific’s nutritious foods are inspired by traditional recipes made convenient for busy, health-conscious consumers.

The organic tomatoes are gently peeled with steam instead of chemicals, which means no chemical byproducts go back into the earth. The proprietary “flasheat” cooking time is 90% shorter than canned tomatoes, preserving the flavor, color, texture, and nutritional integrity of the product. The BPA-free cartons provide an 18-month shelf life and are simple to handle—just tear open the top and pour the tomatoes straight into recipes. All five varieties are filled in combiblocStandard 750-g cartons. Equipped with a v-perforation, the carton makes it easy to add the tomatoes to a pasta dish, stews, or chili.
