Last month, SC Johnson introduced a new take on concentrated cleaning solutions, with the All-In-One Cleaning System. The company says that the system was created to help consumers clean more efficiently and effectively by choosing three of their five favorite cleaners to dock at one time in a simple, lightweight sprayer that adds the water. According to SC Johnson, as busy lifestyles evolve, families are looking for products that help them do more with less and are drastically reducing the time they spend on cleaning. In fact, women spent nine hours less each week cleaning in 2005 than in 1975, a 2009 University of Michigan Institute of Social Research study reveals.

Among the sustainability advantages of the new system, each concentrated cleaner cartridge is said to use 64% less plastic than a standard-sized 26-oz bottle and is made of 25% post-consumer plastic. In addition, more than 75% fewer trucks are needed to ship the cleaner cartridges versus standard bottles.
